Creative Environments Wins Herb Frank Memorial Trophy Award For Alexander Valley Store & Bar
The California Landscape Contractors Association presented Creative Environments of Sebastopol the prestigious Herb Frank Memorial Trophy Award for their work on the Alexander Valley Store & Bar.
Birch Financial, Inc. sponsored the award, which was presented during the association's annual convention November 17, 2011.
Two high-regarded green industry veterans traveled state-wide to personally inspect each and every one of the 150-plus Trophy Award entrants. The judges, who rated projects on their artistic and technical merits, were impressed with Creative Environments's work. "The landscape throughout is fresh, clean and neat. Of special note is the large vegetable garden with its 'raised beds' of stainless steel. It is simply clean, clean, clean," says Trophy Award Judge and recognized landscape architect Rick Conner, Principal of the Land Design Group.
The California Landscape Contractors Association sponsors the Trophy Awards to encourage interest in landscaping, recognize crafts people who produce outstanding landscapes, create pride in superior workmanship and to bestow public recognition on companies, institutions, municipalities and residents for their interest in a beautiful California.
When asked to talk about Creative Environments, President Harry North said, "Although unique and functional design is Creative Environment's passion, outstanding customer service is our number one priority."
The California Landscape Contractors Association is a non-profit trade organization of licensed landscape and landscape-related contractors. Also included among its approximately 3,000 members are landscape suppliers, landscape architects, public officials, educators, and students.
